The Alpha Course
The Alpha Course provides time and space to unpack the Christian faith in a no-pressure environment. This course is world famous and has been taken by millions of people.
Alpha will run for around 10 weeks, with each weekly session exploring some aspect of the Christian faith, beginning with food and drink, and followed by a short talk, and friendly open conversation.
The weekly talk will explore and unpack the big issues around faith, the basics of Christianity, and address such questions as: Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?
The course is all about conversation in an environment where we can all be open about what we believe.
Hope Explored & Alpha Course
'Hope Explored' takes place over three weeks, and the 'Alpha Course' takes place over about 10 weeks. There is no charge for either one.

There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. Where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us?
Hope Explored looks at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel, this three-session series shows that Christianity is about real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.
This is a short course, just three sessions and is a great introduction to the Christian faith, which could be easily followed by the Alpha Course if you wish to explore things further.
The structure of each session is very simple: food, a look at some aspect of the gospel of Luke, a short talk/video presentation, followed by an open and honest discussion.
