What to Expect

WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?

Our Sunday morning service begins at10.30am and usually last for 90 minutes.

You should expect our services to open with a warm welcome, followed by worshiping together through singing, preaching and mutual encouragement.

We share communion on a regular basis, normally twice a month.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

You should expect to be greeted by a couple of friendly stewards at the main entrance, and handed that week's bulletin. Please do ask our stewards any questions that you have, and they'll help you in any way they can.

We have an information table in the main entrance which has plenty of resources, and we also have an information stand in the refreshments hall for after the service, where someone will be happy to talk with you about any questions you may have.

AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE?

Here at Wyke Christian Community Church we believe that giving is an act of worship. However, newcomers and visitors are under no obligation to give, so please feel free to just pass the basket by.

WHERE DO KIDS GO DURING SERVICE?

We are a multi-generational church and after a short time of worship all together, our children and young people move to their groups to explore faith in ways which are geared towards them.

At present we cater for two groups: children aged 5 - 10, and young teens from11+.

There is a creche adjacent to the main hall for parents with children under 5 - please feel free to use it any time during the service. We also have some 'fidget bags' available for children who struggle to settle or who may be on the autistic spectrum and need some sensory toys to play with; please ask the stewards if you would like one of these when you arrive.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Wyke Christian Community Church is the new name for the Wyke Christian Fellowship. The church is still in the same place, opposite Wyke Village Green. The address is:                                             Wyke Christian Community Church, Town Gate, Wyke, Bradford, BD12 9JP.

We have a small car park outside the building, which has disabled access and ramps. Our whole building has disabled access, including the toilets.
